There Was a Summer To-Do List

every time I say that phrase, I can't not think of that song. curse you, Killers, for being so dang catchy.
but seriously. somebody told me that at Sunflower Market, students get 20% off on Thursdays.
count me in, babieeeeeeee.
also I need to hit up Winco again. seriously, greatest grocery store known in this universe. it's like a glorious mix between Foods Co. or Food For Less {yuck, but sometimes a necessary evil} and Costco {woohoo!}, but no membership is required {double score!}. totally worth the drive to Orem.
2)
hang with this beauty lots. favorite cousin ever. she's getting married in January and leaving me foooooooorever, so we have to hang out lots before then. :) we hung out last night when she invited me over for her roommate pizza party/movie night and we watched 500 Days of Summer. that movie was uber frustrating, but totally made me think a lot. I decided this morning that I think I liked it. it reminded me a lot of my LDS Marriage & Family class I took last Winter semester. all about times and seasons for every stage in life. super good movie, but if you haven't seen it yet, be prepared to be annoyed.
anyways, despite my movie-woes, I looooooooooved seeing Emm. she's seriously so much fun, and her engagement-excitement just makes me even more happy to be around her. AND! she and her fiancee Jayson are TOTALLY coming with our family & her family to San Fran in a few weeks. :) we're both super excited for him to meet Brayden.

why does it seem like everything I want to do is sooooooooooooooo spendy right now? like, for example, I spent a good portion of my last night slash this morning looking at buying adorable things on Etsy and a new digital camera.
and of course, everything I saw, I totally wanted to buy. like this dress.
and this camera.
I hate having money. :(
what are your thoughts on either purchase??
also. Music Tuesday Update. my baby brother Brayden {no alliteration intended} sent me a text last night {his first text ever I might add} that said, and I quote:
"hi this is Brayden
moms on your blog and I herd justin beaber
your not aloud to listen to or like justin beaber ok"
by far the FUNNIEST text I've ever gotten. I made Emmaleigh read it too, and I died laughing a little bit.
so if you love/hate Justin Bieber, it really doesn't matter now because my 8-year-old brother told me to take it off. now we've got an equally good song called "Secrets" by OneRepublic that I loooooooooooooove dearly and listened to again and again when I was curling my hair this morning. please love it as much as I do, and, for Brayden's sake, more than Justin Bieber.
