so I'm still alive, thank goodness. :) but I know who I'm sposed to kill now because he got a new calling yesterday and had to stand in Sacrament meeting. muahahahahahaha. or maybe he'll just die on Wednesday with half of the group because they haven't killed their person yet. ... still deciding if I'm gonna wait it out or not...
Friday night we had a Relief Society Sleepover at one of our bishopric member's house. his wife was so stinking adorable, and we had tons of pizza and chocolate and junk food-- it was awesome!! too bad not that many people showed up and I wasn't even hungry to start with, so I couldn't really take full advantage of the excess of food and junk. :( but still, it was really fun. we did fruit facials- some were peach, some were tomato, some were cucumber, and some were strawberry. I did the tomato one {super acidic and really stingy on your face}, and just about everyone of us did the strawberry one, just because it looked so hilarious and smelled so wonderful.

then we watched Jane Austen's Emma with Gwyneth Paltrow, which I'd never seen before and was super adorable, and went to sleep shortly after it was over. when we woke up the next morning, Sister Johnson had French toast ready for us. the toast itself was very normal, and she had sliced bananas and strawberries {leftovers from the facials the night before} for toppings. but the main event of the meal was this homemade butter syrup she'd made that was, honestly, to die for. it was just like eating candy, but probably better, and just as unhealthy for you. a good helping of that syrup, drizzled over a scattering of fruit and some French toast seriously made my weekend.

back when Heidi & I were still tomato-faces and everyone else was a cucumber.

Heidi & I as far-less-painful-than-tomato strawberry faces.
Kels gettin some berries on her face.

Chantelly has a skin disease? nope, just strawberries and cornstarch.

we looked suuuuuuuuper burnt, or like diseased oompa loompas

Saturday I went on a fingerpainting date with my friend Peter. it was super fun and we made some new Mexican friends who helped us finish the painting. Hahaha. but seriously, it was a gorgeous day on Saturday {minus the strange monsoon that hit for approximately eight minutes}, and the painting actually turned out pretty good!

well, if you think that's good, at least. the storm cloud in the corner is especially my favorite. the little Mexican boys helped us fill in the mountains, and painted the rocks at the bottom and the sun. they were super funny and adorable. Peter was much more patient with them than I was. the temple kind of looks like a weird arm and Angel Moroni looks like a Twinkie with an arm, but whatever. pretty decent for not being allowed to use the brushes, I think.
Sunday was pretty good- after we went to church, Chantelly, Kels & I drove up to SLC to visit Chantelly's sister Tiffany, and we did not get to celebrate 7-Eleven Day because stupid Provo doesn't know how to supply enough Free Slurpee Cups. seriously, we drove to three different 7-Elevens, and they were all out. the last one actually ran out like 2 minutes before we got there. it was suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper depressing. :( the night ended with Kenzie making spaghetti for dinner, some boys hanging out at our house for what seemed like forever {but I still love you boys}, Ward Prayer & Nice Note deliveries, watching Emperor's New Groove & eating brownies at another adorable apartment in our ward, and a few rounds of Swedish Twister.
pretty good weekend, right? I think so too.
... I'm still craving that stupid French Toast. now I'm thinking I'll have to take a trip to Kneaders for some of their $5 all-you-can-eat French Toast some time in the near future. any thoughts or takers??
PS: I revamped the Oregon post. Pics are up now, babyyyyyyyyyyy. :)
