There Was a Compare-Contrast Weekend
3:22 PMhomecoming last year. october 24, 2009.
dance
went to the dance at Thanksgiving Point with my friend/FHE bro Jake.
Paul and EmilyB were involved as well.
personal injuries
fell down the stairs of the Tanner building auditorium while walking into Sacrament meeting.
yikes.
went to the bathroom, cried a little, scraped all the dead skin off my shins and went to the rest of church that day.
and you thought I was a pansy.
super embarrassing. never want to talk about it again. plus I have scars.
true blue

giant slip n slide covered in blue foam that stains your skin forever and tastes terrible.
but seriously way fun.
first year ever going, and it was a total blast.
football
we lost dreadfully to TCU.
boo.
homecoming this year. october 9, 2010.
dance
well, except it wasn't really a dance. Peter and I went to his sister's costume party as Wesley and Buttercup from Princess Bride.

it's official. Peter dates a crazy person.
we. were. awesome.
we rented the costumes from the Hale Center Theater in Orem
and it was totally worth it.
we officially won the very unofficial costume contest. since, uh, there was one.
either way, we had the coolest costumes there by far.
except maybe the Mario family.
mom was Princess Peach, dad was Luigi, son was Mario and baby was Toad.
also quite awesome.
personal injuries
I'm reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally good at falling down stairs around Homecoming.
last weekend I was running up the stairs in Wells Hall {Freshman year shoutout!}to get our General Conference tickets from my cute cousin Chloe...
when I fell on my way back down.
seriously embarrassed me.
seriously bruised ego.
seriously bruised legs.
seriously sad boyfriend.
personal injuries {cont.}/true blue
then a few days later, my arm got eaten by a slip n slide.
the picture on the <-- {left}* is my green and swollen elbow.
the picture on the --> {right} points out the worse parts of my arm.
during True Blue, there was a hole in the tarp somewhere.
my arm decided to go through the hole
my rest-of-me decided to keep going down the slide.
nearly ripped my arm off my body
and gave me super ugly bruises to prove its hatred towards me.
Peter keeps joking that he can't touch anywhere without hurting me.
true statement. {practically}my entire right arm, my legs, my back {which is bruised from who knows what}. all seriously bruised and hurting lots.
but we looked super cool afterwards. :)
football
we won something!! great fun game to be at against SDSU. ha.
*I'm quickly learning that I seriously mix up my right and left. the other day I was telling Peter which way to turn when we were driving to Orem for our costumes. I said, "turn left at the next light" to which he proceeded to get in the left lane. 4.3 seconds later I said, "and by left I mean right."
I am so bad.

1 love notes
uh yep. i definitely get my left and right mixed up all the time. even when i make those little L's with my hands, still confuses me. it's pretty sad i know. and that's why i'm going to byui. hahaha just kidding about the last part. kind of.
