can I just say that I love baseball?
in particular, my San Francisco Giants.
and it doesn't hurt that tonight is Game 1 against the Tigers (... who even likes the Tigers?!?!*) in the 2012 World Series.
people always tell me about how they can't get in to it or they think it's boring.
which is a fine viewpoint to have.
"but as for me and my house, we will ..." uhhh... watch baseball.
what I do have a problem with is people calling it an inferior sport.
sport is sport is sport.
and how can you hate the American pastime???
that's like hating babies. or clementines. or Julie Andrews. or Inception.
not cool, guys.
to each her own.
anyway. I love baseball.
and I love my daddy for taking me to all those baseball games before he had any sons.
ahhhh the perks of being the oldest child...
(ps, there are very few perks to being the oldest child so I them make up)

me circa October 2010.
just a couple days after a super gnarly breakup.
me now.
except maybe not quite.
on the plus side - no gnarly breakups this time - just friends and my SF Giants.
so here's to hoping they don't need my tears and excessive ice cream consumption to win another World Series. because I'd really rather not go back to down that rabbit hole if possible.
* Dear Jeff, I understand you are a Tigers fan. But seriously, I've never met another Tigers fan or heard of the Tigers having any fans. Sorry.
Go Giants!!
