I hope everyone had an appetizing and family-fun Thanksgiving. 

I know I was fed and as stuffed as our turkey was 24/7. 

why I was thinking about this topic this morning is totally beyond me. but it seemed sort of funny and blogworthy.
maybe?

kids are funny. and they will always think they're right. 

so when I was little, I messed up movie and song quotes. a lot. 

my sisters and I talked about it on Facebook just a couple weeks ago. Jaime thought the words to "One Jump" from Aladdin were "... just a little snackaaaaaaaaaaa." instead of "just a little snack guys..."

a few more examples...

Zazu: "I think it's time that you and I arranged a heart to heart"

Simba: "Kings don't need advice from little hornbills for start."

then there's the song "As I Lay Me Down" by Sophie B. Hawkins.

I always thought it was "And it sounds like church bells or a whistle of a train
on a submarine." 

rather than "on a summer evening."

do any of these make sense AT ALL?

nope. and I loved it.

and I miss being five.
