this was the view from my stairwell yesterday morning.

today it took me a good 30 minutes to scrape all the ice of my car windows. it was so thick, my scraper didn't even do anything at first. I had to wait for the ice to melt a little with my car's defrost on for scraping to even do any damage.

even walking (maybe a block) from the parking lot to work this morning, I got to the point where my brain and nose hairs started hurting from the cold.

I mean, c'mon people. it's only October.

I got spoiled last year. we had the mildest, most wonderful winter imaginable. we got enough snow for it to be pretty sometimes, but mostly it was just blissful.

this is my complaint for today. I just want to be warm again.
