There was a Super Epic Day
6:39 PMHahahaha today ROCKED! Yep. And it's not even over.
Oh, aside from the 8 year anniversary of September 11th. That's not epic. Well, not in a good way at least. But at least I didn't ignore it like Google. Hosers. Probably because it's run by terrorists. Did I just say that out loud??
Anyway let's get to the goods. So this morning. Good thing number 1) I woke up. and I wasn't exhausted. :) Good thing number 2) I'm sore from Commando the other night. Now, I complain about this one, but it's like the good kind of sore. The "ooooh I actually did something with my life" kind of sore. :) Good thing number 3) So, this sort of should be a bad thing. The total creep that's in my dance class and my Comms 101 class and group project (blehhhhhhh) came in to class and sat right next to me. Just like I knew he would. Sick. But then Mister Cutie-Patootie-Class-Clown-who's-a-terrible-dancer-but-tries-super-hard came and sat on the other side of me. :) great excuse not to talk to the creep, huh? Good thing number 4)We learned all the figures for Cha Cha. WOO. HOO. Although I should be kinda sad about this, I'm totally not. I LOOOOOOOOOORVE me some Cha Cha. And the boys that I think are the most creepy in class are actually pretty decent dancers. So we have really cute funny sucky dancers, and really great dancers that are weirdies. It's a good mix.Good thing number 5) Okay you'll never EVER believe this- we danced to Lady Gaga "Just Dance" AND "Circus" by Britney Spears. In the same class. Oh my wonderful it was the most amazing thing ever. I've been listening to those two songs today and just loving the fact that I can CHA CHA to them. Good thing number 6) After class Mister Cutie-Patootie told me he was gonna ask out one of the other girls in the class. Which was odd that he was telling me. But whatever. He was cute, and I like conversation. But then these are pretty much his exact words (just so you get a feel for how strangely I felt about this): "So, this is like, my only chance, right? Right. Okay. But she's still practicing with that other guy... And I have another class across campus right now... What's your number?" I was mildly shocked and had to laugh. Of course I gave him my number, because, after all, he IS Mister Cutie-Patootie. He said he might call me or text me this weekend. Yay? If he doesn't, I might just puncture his spleen with the heel of my dance shoes. Good thing number 7) I went to Pita Pit for the first time EVER for lunch today with an old friend from Freshman year. And it was absolutely yummers. Good thing number 8) Tonight is gonna be so epic it's unbelievable. There are literally ten different dance parties/luaus/toga parties/cocktail(mocktail) parties going on tonight. Emily and I and anyone else who things they're brave enough to hang with us are just gonna go party hop tonight. :)
I'll have to blog tomorrow about the epicness of tonight. But first, I need to eat something. Anyone want to feed me?

2 love notes
i was in a social dance class.. and i just have to say that some of those guys are extremely questionable. people's palms shouldn't sweat that much, its not natural. blegh.
ReplyDeleteOkay, would BYU seriously allow a song about getting wasted (Just Dance) to be played in one of their dance classes? Ha ha! That makes me laugh, but only because it's for some reason (to me) a quite funny/clever little song about getting wasted. I'm a total heathen and a bad influence on you!! But hey, I grew up in the 80s and have heard much, much worse lyrics in my day. If you haven't been brainwashed by hearing that song before now, I think it's a safe bet you're not gonna lose your mind and go out drinking, losing your cell phone and turning your shirt inside-out just 'cause it's cool when Lady Gaga does it. But if you do...it may not hurt to write a catchy song about it afterward, you know. ;)
